Big Sky Stampin' Papercrafting

I have been a crafter most of my life, starting in about 8th grade when I tried to embroider some frogs on a quilt, that I never finished! Although the list of what "I never finished" is long, and includes cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting and more, my latest obsession is paper! I joined Stampin'Up! as an independent demonstrator in October 2011 and have been going like crazy ever since! I offer classes in my home, do catered card parties at your home and sell my cards locally in Bozeman, Montana and around the lovely Gallatin Valley. I would love to meet and talk to you if you are interested in the papercrafting hobby or just need some unique handmade cards for a special occasion!

Fun with Donuts and Paper Pumpkin!

Hi stampers!
Are you a Paper Pumpkin fan? If not, you should be!  There's alot of fun to be had in each month's surprise kit of crafting supplies and goodies!  You can always make the kit as suggested, but you can also do your own thing and there are plenty of leftover supplies to help you out!

In May, we received a really cute donut-themed card kit. I decided to cut mine up a bit and make twice as many cards. I mounted them on card stock and added some fun of my own. Here are my results:

Using some random sentiment stamps, flowers, pearls and string, I was able to make some fun cards that go way further than the original kit would have.  I love the surprise factor each month and in the meantime, I'm getting quite the stock pile of stamps and small ink pads that come with each kit!

And here's a great video to show you what a kit looks like and what you can do with it right out of the box:
