Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Rose Wonder watercolor Sympathy card

I'm back today with another card from a recent class!  This card features the Rose Wonder stamp set and coordinating thinlit die. This was a fun and easy technique. We first stamped the rose/leaves image on our background paper, then cut out the image with the thinlit and some black cardstock. Before we glued the thinlit piece on, we watercolored the rose and leaves with aqua painters and very little water. We then glued on the black thinlit piece and added the Sympathy sentiment!  This particular stamp set is incredible with its versatile uses. Here's the card:

I added a list of supplies in case you're curious! There are still 2 more weeks to take advantage of Stampin'Up!'s biggest promotion of the year, Sale-A-Bration!  For every $50 you spend, you get to choose a free product.  Contact me for details!

Hope to see you stampin' soon!

Let us Celebrate!

If you are like me, there is always a need for a birthday card that you want to get in the mail or hand deliver to someone special! This is a fun design using some new products from the Occasions Catalog.  I also tried to do a different color scheme that could be for either a guy or gal. What do you think?

Couple of things to draw your attention to... First, I used the "Let us Celebrate" stamp from the Balloon Celebration stamp set, but since it is a photopolymer stamp, I curved it on my acrylic block so I could fit it in the corner... I love to do that and forget to do it most of the time. Secondly, to get a layered and dimensional effect, I stamped the balloons directly on my card first, then stamped some on coordinated card stock and punched them out with the new Balloon Celebration punch. Lastly, I love this bear!  He will go anywhere on a card and is sure to bring a smile. I've listed my supplies below in case you would like to recreate this card. Another idea would be to make it a graduation card and change the balloon colors to school colors!

I hope you are finding some therapy time with your crafting projects. I know that it doesn't always happen, but it's sure great when it does!
Have a great Thursday!

Time is flying by, isn't it?

I hear people say that all the time and for the most part, my weeks are fairly reliable and predictable, at least they used to be. It's funny how we actually make appointments and look at calendars and forgot that we have so little control over our days. My life is a whirlwind that continues to swirl, however, I am getting back into my craft room for some therapy time!  I have continued to have a few classes and make some cards, but have been AWOL on the blog. My apologies to any of you who look forward to these posts.

I recently took some pics of cards and hopefully will have a few days' worth of posts here. We are still in the middle of Sale-A-Bration and I've been scooping up as many freebies as possible!  Check out the website to the right ===>> for more details!

One of the best freebies of the "Botanicals For You" set with the stunning "just for you" stamp. The font is lovely and BIG!  It was begging to be heat embossed with gold embossing powder, so I obliged.

The background paper and flowers are part of a wonderful 3 piece bundle called "Botanical Gardens" (#140819) . You get paper, stamps and framelits in this bundle and it is all worth it !!

If it's been awhile since you've looked over our products, take another look. It's a great time to stock up on extra paper and adhesives, ink refills. Everything you purchase adds up and with every $50 you can choose a free item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!

Have a great Tuesday!
