Big Sky Stampin' Papercrafting

I have been a crafter most of my life, starting in about 8th grade when I tried to embroider some frogs on a quilt, that I never finished! Although the list of what "I never finished" is long, and includes cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting and more, my latest obsession is paper! I joined Stampin'Up! as an independent demonstrator in October 2011 and have been going like crazy ever since! I offer classes in my home, do catered card parties at your home and sell my cards locally in Bozeman, Montana and around the lovely Gallatin Valley. I would love to meet and talk to you if you are interested in the papercrafting hobby or just need some unique handmade cards for a special occasion!

You Deserve a Happy Birthday!

Hi there!  It's snowing like crazy this morning but that's what it does in the winter in Montana, so no surprises here!  I'm always glad to get a fresh batch that covers up the old snow- sure is pretty!

Birthdays continue to be the #1 reason to send a card and this wonderful new set from the Occasions Catalog does not disappoint!  It's called Balloon Adventures:

There are framelits that coordinate with this stamp set as well and I used the bow framelit for my fancy bow.  What do you think of the balloons?  I used the two-step stamping technique with a lighter shade of yellow, blue and green and then went over the top with the stripes and polka dots in a darker shade of yellow, blue and green. I love how they turned out!  My paper choice on this card is from the Party Animal Designer Series Paper...  This is not a tricky card to design or make, but the end result catches your eye!  You can see my supplies below if you are interested in making a card with these stamps. It is also perfect for birthday party favors, a scrapbook page, Project Life, etc.

Hope you have some creative time today! Happy Stampin',
