Big Sky Stampin' Papercrafting

I have been a crafter most of my life, starting in about 8th grade when I tried to embroider some frogs on a quilt, that I never finished! Although the list of what "I never finished" is long, and includes cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting and more, my latest obsession is paper! I joined Stampin'Up! as an independent demonstrator in October 2011 and have been going like crazy ever since! I offer classes in my home, do catered card parties at your home and sell my cards locally in Bozeman, Montana and around the lovely Gallatin Valley. I would love to meet and talk to you if you are interested in the papercrafting hobby or just need some unique handmade cards for a special occasion!

Up and Away- For You!

Hi there stampin' friends!
One of my favorite activities are the monthly card classes I hold with some great, creative and fun ladies. We typically make three cards and I try to incorporate new products and new techniques as much as possible. There seems to be a never ending supply of both!

One of the eye-catching combos in the new Occasions Catalog is the Up and Away set with a hot air balloon theme. There are stamps, framelits and even some coordinating paper to drive home the message you want to send. We made this card in a recent class:

This is a gate fold card with both sides opening. We glued the stamped/die cut piece on the right side of the card and used some dimensionals to pop it up a bit!  This also features a lovely Designer Series Paper component that created the color scheme. It's bold and beautiful!  We made this a birthday card with our inside sentiment but you could easily make this card for any occasion... how about graduation? Job promotion?  Recovery from an illness?  There are all kinds of reasons to celebrate and the hot air balloon theme automatically evokes success! I've listed the supplies below so you can replicate this card if you want to!

How is your Sale-A-Bration going so far?  Have you taken advantage of the free SAB products with every $50 spent on Stampin'Up! products?  I hope so. This promotion goes all the way to March 31st so there is lots of time. You can even space out some orders and take advantage of the promotion several times!

There are other ways to enjoy Sale-A-Bration too!  You can host a party and get an extra $25 in hostess rewards for an order over $250. Gather up some friends, pick a date and I'll come and present a fun party for everyone, plus they will go home with some cards they have made and a great introduction to how much fun stamping is.

You can also join Stampin'Up! and reap the rewards of being a demonstrator!  Some people join to start a business and some start just to receive the discount and other benefits for themselves. Please let me know if you are interested or even just curious. It is set up to be a try it and see if you like it venture with only a $99 investment up front (gets you $125 worth of product and 2 free stamp sets during SAB) and a $300 quarterly purchase requirement to stay active. The $300 can be your purchases, friends, family, coworkers, etc. There is never any cost or penalty for quitting but once you try it, I think you will like it!  My team, the Big Sky Stampers, are alot of fun and always looking for more stampers to join us!

I'm spending the day in my room today- can't wait!  I just got a box full of new stuff over the weekend and it's time to dive in and see what happens!
Happy Stampin',
Sarah
