For the Love of Felt

Hello Stampers!
I've been excited to share something with you, a fabulous new kit in the annual catalog. I've had it for a couple of weeks but didn't have time to put some of the cards together until last week. I knew as soon as I saw it at OnStage that this would be a winner!  Who remembers all the crafting possibilities of felt? It must be timeless!  Pioneers probably used felt in fact! It's been around as long as I remember and is responsible for many creative endeavors.

Despite it's long history, it has new life with this "For the Love of Felt" kit. I love the felt flowers combined with some creative stamping to make these wonderful cards. Here are some samples:

Aren't they pretty!  This kit includes all you need except ink and adhesives to make 12 cards, four each of three designs.  The coordinating stamp set is also a separate purchase and it's a set that can be used for any stamping project, not just this kit.   Here's a better look at some of the products in the kit:

Stampin'Up!'s kits are high quality complete with great directions including wonderful visuals if you hate to "read" directions!  After separating the components into piles I made my cards.

Don't you love the color scheme?  The colors are vibrant and inviting. There is a great combination of textures as well between the felt, paper die cuts, stamping, sequins and linen thread.

This is simple stamping featuring three of the new In Colors, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray.  I love the color combination and these are great flowers and leaves to play with. I really love the "swirl" stamp too!
