Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Farewell to Petal Palette

Hi Friends,
How's your week going?  I've been enjoying our warmer temps and sunshine, just like the month of May should be!  It inspires me to get outside a little more and soak it up. Today, I'm continuing my farewell of some of my favorite bundles that have been in the catalog for awhile. I hate to see the good ones go but I have no doubt I'll have other favorites soon!

Petal Palette was a favorite bundle, especially paired with the Designer Series Paper that we had last year. The bundle carried over this year but without the paper so I had to think of other ways to get creative with this set.  I recently played with this fun combination of flowers, leaves, stems and birds.

For this idea, I tried an experiment - I stamped my flowers/leaves in Sahara Sand ink rather than black Momento ink. You can't see the outlines as well but I really like the subtleness of it. I colored the flowers and leaves with my Stampin'Blends alcohol markers.  The polka dot stamp in this set makes a great border !

I chose a wild background for this one!  It's from the "Share What You Love" Designer Series Pack. The vivid colors will get attention and show I really mean it when I say thank you!

I got this color scheme idea off a Pinterest post and unfortunately didn't document whose card I saw.  I added some die cuts, ribbon and a greeting. The color scheme is different but quite striking with Lovely Lipstick and Gray Granite.

Here are some cards from the past year that I did using this set. They've been featured in a blog post before, but it's always great to be reminded of how versatile a set can be!

You can still get the Petal Palette bundle but after June 3rd, it will be gone forever!  If you don't have a lot of flowers, leaves and such, it's a great one. If you like to color, it's a great one!  If you need a variety of sentiments, this is the one!  Here's a look at the bundle itself:

I've listed some of my supplies for these projects in the supply list below and a click on any of them will take you to the Online Store. I have two promotions going on for May. With any online order of $75 or more and use of the Hostess Code TQWHQY4K you will receive 3 blog sample cards (chosen randomly) in the mail from me.  Also, with any purchase of the Rooted In Nature bundle, you will receive instructions and some extra supplies for several cards to make with this set.   Please contact me with any questions. I'm hoping to finish this "calendar year" which ends June 3rd really strong and would love to help you be creative!

Thanks for stopping by! Always a pleasure....
Sarah
