Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Many Words for Birthday Wishes!

Hey there!
I have a great birthday card to show you today. It features a retiring stamp set that is really fun to use. All the words and cake layers are angled! Curious?  Here's my card :

Here's a picture of the stamp set (Crazy Cake  #142850) so you can see how it works:

I think it helps to see all the angled pieces. You can build a sentiment, build a cake or build both. You could even throw some candles on top for a truly wonderful celebration.  I want to play with this set some more and see if I can come up with some ideas that aren't cake-related. I love to think outside the box and get a more versatile use out of my Stampin'Up! tools, papers and stamps.  You're imagination is the limit!  For this particular card, I used some Fiesta Designer Series Paper and I inked up some bubble wrap and then placed some white card stock on top of that and ran a brayer over it for my second layer. That's a great way to get some color and texture.

Don't forget about our retiring products!  Some things have already sold out but there are still some great deals. Here's the best place to see them:
