We had an incredible sunrise this morning... I captured it all on my I-phone and have some pictures at the bottom of my post... sooooo pretty. My artistic efforts pale in comparison to the original Creator, God.
I have some baby cards for you today. I'm not completely thrilled with them as I think they are lacking but I haven't figured out exactly what they are lacking. That just encourages me to try again! Here they are, a girl and a boy:
The more I look at these, the more I think they are fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. I would like to do a better job with coloring, get more shading in there. I used the Watercolor pencils and then blended the color with a blender pen, but it's not very shaded at all. I stuck with the star theme by using the star embossing folder and also some metallic enamel stars. The ribbon is the free product ribbon in the Sale-A-Bration brochure, available with any $50 purchase. What do you think? What should be done to jazz these cards up a little...maybe some layering? I'd love to hear your thoughts! We can all learn from each other....
Let's move on to something that is truly gorgeous... today's sunrise! I took these pictures from our deck and honestly, I never get tired of the view!
Now that's some glorious art! Have a good day!!
Happy Stampin,
Sarah
