I have a great masculine themed card today... just what you need and often don't have! How's this:
There is alot going on here so I'll try to do a good job of sharing the details! First, I embossed some silver foil duct tape with the hexagon folder. The tape is found at a hardware store and is adhesive. I think it is used in the plumbing/furnace industry. It embosses like a dream and after the backing is pulled away, adheres perfectly to card stock. Next, I stamped and die cut a hammer and screwdriver. I also colored them with markers and watercolor pencils. I then used my balloon punch to punch out some balloons and using some red baker's twine, tied around the tools with the string, then made it look like the strings are hooked onto the balloons. I finished up with stamping and some screw head embellishments. I love the way this card turned out. It's a happy card with happy colors and of course, balloons!
I always wander around hardware stores if I'm there with my husband and look at what products could be used for a card. Crazy, I know. It kills the time and also gives me great inspiration!
Have a great weekend and stay crafty!
Sarah
