Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Timeless Tropical in the middle of winter

Hey Stampers!
It's January, it's cold, it's a tad dreary and it's not going away any time soon. So let's just pretend we are somewhere else today, okay?!!  I am having a lot of fun with a new bundle in the Jan-June Mini Catalog called "Timeless Tropical". It's full of everything that I never see in Montana and only can imagine in my mind - which works well with fabulous products like these!  It's a great bundle of stamps, dies, paper, ink, ribbon, embossing folder and trinkets that evoke a warm, tropical paradise which is perfect for rest and relaxation. If you are drawn to an island type life, you will love this set! Here are some samples using the products!

I have to admit the first thing that caught my eye was the sheet of Designer Series Paper with the old "woody" cars on it. I'm old enough to remember people actually driving these around as their vehicle for everyday use. You'll also see the palm trees stamp/die, the cute pineapple trinket and a bit of the "Coastal Weave" 3D embossing folder.

This card features the almost larger than life pineapple die included in this set. I used two different colors of brown cardstock to try to get some depth and definition to my pineapple, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. I am such a fan of paper and this Designer Series Paper pack is vivid, refreshing and colorful!

My final card today includes some stamped images of the flower and leaves in the stamp set as well as more of the embossing folder and DSP.

What do you think?  Wishing you were on an island right now sipping a pretty drink with an umbrella?  I think I do!  This won't be my last adventure with this fun set. If you want to see it in the catalog, check out pages 38-40. There's a catalog link to the right ====>>>> .  My supplies are listed below so you can also click on any of them and get to the online store for easy shopping as well.  Don't forget that with Sale-A-Bration going on, any time you hit the $50 increment in your order, you get to choose a free SAB product as an extra gift to you from Stampin'Up!  It's a great time to stock up on the essentials like card stock, ink and adhesives or treat yourself to something new from the new catalog. You can take advantage of this promotion all of January, February and March and submit as many orders as you want.

I wish I was off to an island now but instead am heading back to my stamp room to play with new product and travel in my mind!  Aloha!!

Happy Stampin',
Sarah
