Big Sky Stampin' Papercrafting

I have been a crafter most of my life, starting in about 8th grade when I tried to embroider some frogs on a quilt, that I never finished! Although the list of what "I never finished" is long, and includes cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting and more, my latest obsession is paper! I joined Stampin'Up! as an independent demonstrator in October 2011 and have been going like crazy ever since! I offer classes in my home, do catered card parties at your home and sell my cards locally in Bozeman, Montana and around the lovely Gallatin Valley. I would love to meet and talk to you if you are interested in the papercrafting hobby or just need some unique handmade cards for a special occasion!

TBT - Be the Star You Are

Hi Stampers!
I am jumping into Throw Back Thursday,  TBT, again for my post today.  I love going back to some favorite paper, stamps, ribbons, etc.  The stamp set is VERY current and VERY popular!  It's responsible for my all time most popular card  which has received over 1000 pins on Pinterest. I'll share that card at the end of this post in case you are curious, but here's a new one featuring the stamp set "Beautiful You".

So, other than the stamp set, the rest is retired product that perfectly suits my theme - STARS!  I used some Irresistably Embossed star patterned paper and 3 colors of blue ink to sponge my paper. I then stamped the dancing gal with Stazon ink which is necessary because of the embossing.  I grabbed an old stamp set featuring stars and found the awesome sentiment of "Be the Star You Are" and added some sparkly pool party ribbon. I love this card and the encouragement and hope it brings.

Here's my all-time most popular pin, which you have seen before!

If you don't have this set, be sure to look it over and get it if you like it!  It's available in wood mount (#143004) or clear mount (#143637). You won't be sorry!

Have a great Thursday!
