Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Custom Wedding invite

Late this past fall, I was asked by a very close friend if I would consider making some wedding invitations for her daughter's wedding this spring. They wanted a "Montana" sort of theme and mentioned pine cones. I made several samples and after combining some elements from two of them, came up with the final design and then made 80 of them!  They were safely delivered to the bride-to- be and I was honored to receive one back in the mail last week!  Now that I know they are addressed and sent, I wanted to share them with you!  The main feature is a pocket made with the Stampin'Up! Gift Card Enclosure!  I glued 3 sides together and left one  unglued. I then combined some paper, ribbon, twine, buttons and stamps to come up with the final design. Take a look!

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the insert, just to contrast a little. I also used our awesome Alphabet rotary stamp to stamp their names!  This was very fun and I think everyone was happy with the results! (note:  the pine cone stamps are retired.  The green paper is retired but available on the Clearance Rack!) What you won't see is the back of the insert card which provides all the details for the wedding.

Have you ever thought of making your own invitations?  Maybe not for a wedding but how about a baby shower, a bridal shower, a special kid's birthday party, a milestone anniversary party?   The possibilities are endless!  I can help with some ideas and products to make your event even more special!  Give it a try!

Happy Hump Day!
Sarah
