Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper and More!

Hi Stampin' Friends!
It's March 3rd and that means more Sale-A-Bration magic!  New products have been released for you to choose from with a purchase of $50 or $100!  There are 3 new stamp sets and 2 new packs of paper, one of which I'm featuring today, the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper. I love that there's even more reasons to shop, stock up on the essentials and treat yourself to something new!

The Flowering Foils DSP is gorgeous!  You get 3 sheets of each design and you can leave them as is, sponge them, color them, cut them, etc. I cut one 4" strip off one of the sheets and made three different cards, using different techniques and had so much fun....

For this card, I cut out a corner of the big 12" x 12" sheet, colored it with Stampin'Blends and then continued on with my card.   One of my favorite new embossing folders is the Stone 3D folder, available with a $100 purchase as a Sale-A-Bration freebie (combined with Power of Hope stamp set).

For this card, I used the Flowering Foils as my background and sponged it with Pretty Peacock ink using my sponge brayer. I love this technique as you can use more or less ink to get different shades of color.  I often use a tissue to wipe the whole surface when I'm done and rub any remaining ink off the foil design. Here's another tip!  You can color ribbon with your Stampin'Blends markers too. I colored the white/silver ribbon with Pretty Peacock so I had matching ribbon for my card. 15129The sentiments on these first two cards is from a new SAB freebie called "Tags in Bloom".

For this card, I left the Flowering Foils paper alone as one of my background layers. Anything metallic  or foil works great for wedding cards so that's what I decided to do. I added a copper foil layer using the Argyle embossing folder, available in the Mini Catalog. My sentiment is from the "Last a Lifetime" stamp set, in the Mini Catalog.

For my last card, I grabbed a sheet of my favorite Flowering Foil design and used the sponge brayer method again, this time with Gorgeous Grape ink. For some reason, I've noticed that my customers always love it when purple is a predominant color! This would be the perfect card for a purple lover! My stamp is from the Birthday Jubilee set.

One of my favorite lines of Stampin'Up! products is always the paper and I get so excited when there is brand new paper!  That's what inspires me the most, gives me a color scheme and starts the creative juices roaring in my head. Be sure to check out all our paper in the online store!  You can click on the "shop now" link or click on any of the products in the supply list below for more information and to order.
