Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Special Someone with coordinating dies!

Hi Stampers!
And just like that, it's President's Day already this year!  It is a cliche that time goes fast, but it's sure true!  I've been a little neglectful with posting this winter so far. I'm still stamping as much as ever but getting my projects on the blog often seems like more than I want to handle in a day. Is the winter a hard time for you to accomplish things?  It sure can be for me!

I decided to take things in a "cute" direction today. There is a wonderful animal themed stamp set in the 2020 Mini Catalog called "Special Someone". This set is delightful, light hearted and defines "cute"!  Just to make it more wonderful, Stampin'Up! added coordinating does to cut out many of the stamps included in the stamp set. I made a couple of cards recently to show you but already have several more ideas percolating in my head!  Here they are:

This first card features all three animals in this set, a raccoon, a squirrel and a mouse. Aren't they adorable!  They all have their paws positioned in a way to hold balloons or flowers, which is also pretty cute. I love that one of the coordinating dies is a word bubble!

I also used this set to make a Valentine!  The raccoon is fun to stamp and he easily holds a heart.  Many of the stamps in this set are two step stamps, meaning there is a solid background stamp for one color and then an outlined, sketched stamp for design specifics. You can stamp by just eyeballing it or you can use your Stamparatus with help for perfect positioning.

I can think of all sorts of uses for this stamp set including children's cards, birthdays, thank you's, party invitations, school celebrations, etc.  If you have kids that you make cards for, you should consider adding this set to your stash.

There are many other dies and a Designer Series Paper pack that are part of the Coordination Products release. See them all here:
