Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Back to ink and rubber and paper!

Hi Stampers!
We all need a little time away and after a few weeks of "away", I decided to jump in and hold my regular monthly classes in July. I feared my creative "mojo" was gone forever, but I was able to muster up some artistic goodness after playing for a few days with some ink and stamps. Have you ever been away from crafting for awhile or even worse, been in a slump?  I understand! It can be hard to get back to it when you feel uninspired or "meh" inside. That was what I was afraid of. I decided the first step is walk in the door of the craft room, sit down and start stamping something, anything. Get your fingers inky again and just play for awhile until an idea pops in your head.

I was fortunate in that I have been making cards since the new catalog came out and had some ideas to either use or modify.  I thought I would share the cards we did this month, in hopes of giving you some inspiration if you need it! Here they are:

The first card features two new framelit sets, "Springtime Impressions" thinlits and "Stitched Labels" framelits. The stamp set is called "Stitched All Around".

The second card we made uses the "Lilypad Lake" bundle.  This set caught my eye because of the water stamp and thinlit as well as the beautiful sailboats.

The last card used my favorite bundle in the new Annual Catalog, "Rooted in Nature". It's a huge bundle with tons of stamps and dies. If you look closely, you'll see we embossed with some of the leaf dies, using the new Big Shot Embossing pads.

These cards were fun to make and a great start to explore the new Annual Catalog. It's always a big decision what to purchase but I'm really happy I got these sets. I've included the supply list below for easy ordering or you can contact me with any questions!

Thanks for stopping by, it's good to be back!
Sarah
