How is your first week in the new year going so far? It sounds like for most of us, it is COLD! That makes it tempting to stay inside, stay warm and do something creative. I've been digging around in my various closets and crafty spaces and pulling out some never-finished knitting projects and quilting projects, as well as spending extra time in my stamp room. I am always amazed at how satisfying it is to make something from scratch and handmade, even soup! If you are a "crafty" person, it is funny how you want to be doing something most of the time.

Since the set is called "Lots of Lavender", I stuck with shades of purple for my stamping. I think any floral color would work however and I for one, would not notice that it really is lavender and should be purple. I grabbed some Designer Series Paper for my backgrounds and then tried to use the stamp set as a focal point on the cards.
