Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Jolly Moose

After our 6"+ of snow earlier this week, everyone is digging out the mittens, hats and scarves!  We went from 70 degree days to 14 degree nights and to say the least, that killed off the straggling flowers I still had around the patio!  While weather does not really impact me day to day (very grateful to not have an outside job that is severely contingent upon the weather!), it is interesting to say the least!

Stampin'Up!'s Holiday catalog features so many fun things, but one of the cutest is a stamp set/punch bundle featuring some cute characters and stocking caps. Here's my card:

My idea for this card came from the sentiment which actually belongs to another set, Santa's Sleigh. When I saw "Hope your season brings one good thing on top of another", I immediately thought of a bunch of stocking caps on top of a head. To make it even that much cuter, I decided to make the head a moose!  It's really fun to combine different sets, be sort of whimsical and every once in awhile go fo the look that makes no sense in real life. I've seen moose in the wild and have never seen one with a stocking cap. They are tough dudes!  When I was all done, I felt the edges of the card were a little "meh" so I added some washi tape which usually fixes that!  Hope this gives you some fun ideas. Check out this stamp/punch bundle, it is adorable!

Happy Stampin!
