Independent Stampin'Up! Demonstrator!

Hey friends!
I've been a demonstrator with Stampin'Up! since 2011. I'm located in Bozeman, Montana, but have customers all over the country. I have a very fun and active downline called "Big Sky Stamper Stars" and we get together in person and online to share what we love. My blog posts feature what I'm up to recently and I try to share new product information, tips and tricks and creative inspiration. You can shop from this site or find out more information about our products and becoming a demonstrator! Thanks for stopping by!

Lovely Lattice - Most Popular Pin of mine!

Hey Stampers!
I'm so excited about all the new products from Stampin'Up! that are in the new 2019 Occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration brochure!  I had a great year in 2018 and was able to cash in some points on some free product during the demonstrator preorder (if you want to get your hands on new products before they are available to everyone, become a demo!). I also cashed in on some Sale-A-Bration (SAB) freebies as well. I actually one this set at OnStage in Orlando, in November. At first I was a little disappointed because I didn't think it was very versatile. I was wrong!  I made a few cards, pinned them on Pinterest and this first card has become one of my most popular pins every!  Have a look!

The stamp itself is intricate and beautiful. Combine that with some coloring fun with our alcohol markers, Stampin' Blends, and you have a great card!  I actually stamped on some of our wonderful Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper. When I can, I love to stamp on DSP as it adds some texture and depth that regular "unadorned" card stock can't do.  I combined this stamp set with another new one in the 2019 Occasions Catalog called "Amazing Life", for my sentiments and other stamping designs.

There are more ideas for this stamp set, in case you aren't a fan of coloring, or don't have time to color.  Here are some more ideas:

With this card, I heat embossed the stamped design with silver embossing power. I think it looks really elegant. I used Mint Macaron ink on Mint Macaron paper as well, which gives the design an overall monochromatic feel.  The "Amazing Life" stamp set came to the rescue again for my additional stamping!

For my last card, I simply stamped with our basic ink, this time the Grapefruit Grove color. I added some embellishments to add some interest since there was no variation in color. Our pearl gems fit almost any card and I love using some twine or a doily as well.  One of the new products is a 5 color pack of gingham checked paper. Can you imagine this same card in all five colors?  Gorgeous!

I liked this stamp set so much, I used another SAB freebie to get a second one to give away in my classes to some lucky person. I think they will enjoy playing with it as much as I did.

By the way, if you haven't found me on Pinterest, take a look here!  I pin all my pictures and also pin work by others that I love. There is so much inspiration around us and how lucky are we to live in a time when it's at our fingertips!  Go here:

That's it for this post!  Keep coming back as I share more from the Sale-A-Bration free stamp sets. Happy Saturday and happy stampin'!
