Once a year, Stampin'Up! holds a wonderful 3 day celebration called OnStage. The location varies and this year I was able to attend in Orlando! I had never been to Florida and I wasn't able to spend any extra time there, so some day, maybe I'll go back and see more than the Orange County Convention Center !
Two of my SU demo friends went with me and we had a fabulous time as we attended all the sessions, met some new friends, grabbed some good food and came home with quite the freebies from Prize Patrols! It was a lot of fun and just like the other events I've attended, well worth it. This is a special opportunity for all demonstrators so if you want to get in on the fun, talk to me about how easy it is to become a demonstrator.... and it will be even more worth your while come January, but I'll save that exciting news for the future!
I thought you would like to see some of the fun we had:
On our way to Orlando!
All checked in and ready for three days of fun!
In line.... we are good at waiting patiently!
Made it!
Lavonne was the first winner of Prize Patrol and she got a good one!
When's the last time you had lunch with 6,000 friends and then crafted?
A highlight was meeting some demonstrators from The Netherlands, a mother and daughter duo! We laughed about everything!
First look at the Occasions Catalog coming on January 3rd!
Yay! We finally won Prize Patrol!
Sneak peeks at some new products coming in January!
Anyone who signs up to be a demonstrator during January - March will have an opportunity to receive this craft and carry tote!
More product displays!
The clouds were also cool... did I mention it was about 80 degrees at night?
I achieved a major milestone this year with Stampin'Up! - $100,000 in career sales!
One of several freebies!
All good things come to an end.... Watching the sunrise after getting to the airport at 5:00 a.m. and starting the long journey back north. What a fun time!
My head is spinning with ideas, plans and excitement for the upcoming weeks and months. Be sure to keep checking my blog for frequent updates. As always, there are upcoming specials and promotions but most of all, it's the ongoing delight of what a simple hobby involving ink, paper and stamps can turn in to. It's a most satisfying way to spend some time and burn up some creative juices!
Happy Stampin'!
