Hi Stampers!
Wow - have you done any shopping recently? Autumn is in full force! It's my favorite season except the other three (haha) and there's almost nothing to not like about it. The colors, smells and cozy-factor are in full force. We are suffering through a late arrival of forest fire smoke that just about shuts down all recreational activity that we love so much like hiking, camping, 4-wheeling, boating, etc. The air is awful and we are all praying for big blue skies back in Montana before the snow flies.
Enough of the weather report, right? I want to share some fun from the "Autumn Goodness" bundle that is in the 2020 Aug-Dec mini catalog. This bundle is one you might overlook as there are so many others that leap out at you but you should give it another look, if only for two things, A) the wheelbarrow and B) the picket fence! I can't believe how cute they are and useable for every season, not just fall. I had so much fun playing with this bundle. I'd love to know what you think so comment below!
The star of this card is the wheelbarrow. I die cut it with the darkest of the new Brushed Foil papers, also in the Mini Catalog. I stamped, colored and cut the florals and the used our Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder to create the look of a stone pavement. The background paper and ribbons are from the "Gilded Autumn" Suite, such a love mix of metallics and soft autumn colors!
I showed this card to a class recently and it was the overall winner for "ooohhh and aaahhh" 's! I used a couple of pieces from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the "Autumn Goodness" bundle. I used the Tasteful Labels dies to cut out my sentiment and added some gold thread for fun. This card is proof that sometimes stunning is simple!
My last card we actually did for a class recently and it features many of the products from the "Autumn Goodness" bundle including stamps, the fence die and a wonderful sentiment. Have you discovered the "Dainty Diamonds" 3D embossing folder yet? Boy is it a lifesaver when you need something but not much! These stamped images would also be great to color, I just chose to stamp them on colored cardstock in a class situation to save time.
I can't wait to make some more fun projects with this bundle. I think I like it so much because the sentiments are unique and relatable. We are in such a confusing time right now with COVID, politics, etc that we can run the risk of sounding clueless with some of our sentiments on our cards. I'm thinking twice about what I want to say these days. If you think you could use some "Autumn Goodness" in your life, hop on over to my online store by clicking on the icon on the right margin of the blog OR clicking on any of the products below. You will be there in a jiffy and can start loading your cart with the things you need as well as the things you want!
Don't forget that any Bonus Days coupons you earned in July will expire August 31st! Be sure to cash in and redeem them on an order in August! As always, I'm more than happy to answer any questions, dispense advice and inspire creativity! Just give me a holler via email, text or phone ;)
Happy Stampin'!
