Hi Stampers!
For the time being, I want to focus on some of my favorite sets that are being retired this month, from Stampin'Up!'s product line. They have a great business model of letting some old go and bringing some new every year. In general, I strongly support this idea but it's always hard to let go of things you really like, right?!!
I want to show you how I grabbed a couple sets that I love, that are going away and made three cards in under an hour! How did I do this you ask? Well first of all, I stamped and stamped and stamped in order to make a background with one of my favorites, "Timless Textures" . You can work with any color scheme and all the stamps in some fashion or another. Take a look:
I did all of these with just eyeballing the placement of the stamp. If perfection is important to you, I would highly recommend using the Stamparatus for alignment help. It was fun to just randomly stamp these textured background stamps. They aren't meant to be the star of the show, they just play a very important supporting role!
Next, I finished them off with another favorite set of sentiments called "Better Together". I love this set because it covers lots of occasions and has a cover and inside verse that coordinates with it.
