Hand Delivered - a Hostess Rewards stamp set!

Hi Stampers!
Have you ever thought about hosting a Stampin'Up! party?  Curious about what that even is?  It's kinda like what it sounds, lots of fun centered around stamping!  I have done many of these over my 8 years as a SU demonstrator. Think of it as I'm the caterer and you are the host who gathers her friends for a couple of hours. I share a little bit about what Stampin'Up! is and then we try some stamping!  Even those who have stamped before are amazed at what's new in this industry and quickly remember what they loved about it!  Hostesses also have the chance to earn the opportunity to purchase some unique stamps, only available to them. It's an additional perk for being a hostess and getting together an order of at least $150 or more. These Hostess stamps are about half the price of our regular stamps, making them even more attractive. Right now, during Sale-A-Bration, a Hostess who can get an order together of $250 or more gets an additional $50 to play with in free product.

Today I wanted to share one of the cutest Hostess stamps available in the Annual Catalog. It's called "Hand Delivered" and features the skirt and legs of a woman with many options to put in her hands! I'll explain as I go!

For my first card, I wanted to stamp the balloons!  I knew they would be fun to color with the Stampin'Blends and they were! It's not too hard to line up the top of her body with the bottom of her body and a Stamparatus would make it even more fool proof!  Just a quick word about my background paper.... Are you aware there are some 6 x 6" paper stacks available in all the color families, such as Regals, Brights, Subtles, Neutrals, etc.?  I ordered them right away so I would always have at least a little Designer Series Paper in every color Stampin'Up! carries.  They are the perfect "go to" when you need a specific color and can't find it anywhere else, or just want something simple, but the right color.

Another option for the gal to be holding is a sign.  You could stamp almost anything (that fits) on the sign and easily make this a birthday card, congratulations or whatever! There are also a couple stamps to decorate her skirt so I tried the stripes with this one. I didn't use my Stamparatus but I should of and I would have been able to get it perfect rather than "close".

Another option for her to carry is a cake!  I went back to the Stampin'Blends for this card and incorporated some embossing on my background and some of the Wood Textures DSP to try to anchor her and make it so she wasn't floating in space with a cake!

There are a few more options with this stamp set and of course, you can mix and match the tops and the bottoms.  Here's a look:

I think the stack of books would be great for a graduation card!

Another word about being a Hostess.... you can be a "hostess" just by yourself when you put in an order of $150 or more!  Any order over $150 starts earning 10% back in free product as "Hostess" rewards even if you are the only person ordering. Many people take advantage of this and in fact, SU even gives it a special name, called "Stampin' Rewards".  Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to know more about this special category of stamps. They are fun to play with and special because they can't just be purchased outright without a qualifying order of $150 or more.

We are almost half way through the final month of Sale-A-Bration!  I've had a great first quarter and am so thankful to my customers, class attendees and blog readers!  You inspire me to keep going and try new things, learn more techniques, strive for more creativity and skill. I greatly appreciate you all! It's not too late to put in an order, host a party or even join as a demo. There are huge benefits to all three options. Please contact me if you'd like to learn more. You can leave a comment and I'll get a hold of you as well!

Happy Stampin'!
Sarah
