Candy Cane Season

Hi Stampin' Friends!
How's your November going?  Are you looking forward to Thanksgiving and all that it usually entails  like football, food, family and fun?  Ours will be a little different and abbreviated this year as we don't have a kitchen at our house but our daughter does so we told her she is "on" for Thanksgiving!  It's okay to take a year off once in awhile, right?!

Have you noticed the "Candy Cane Season" bundle in the catalog?  It's really cute and especially handy because it includes an awesome punch for the candy canes and a bow! Sometimes it's fun to work on a project that doesn't require the Big Shot, especially if you are on the go and need a quick project to stamp out (pun intended!)

Here are some designs I came up with using this fun bundle:

You may see some retired buttons, embellishments or ribbon in my designs from time to time. I'm trying to de-hoard and using them when I can really helps! If you look at the candy canes, you'll note that I did four different things.
1) Punching the candy cane out on plain Very Vanilla paper and drawing the stripes with a Stamp-n-Write Marker.
2) Punching the candy canes out on Designer Series Paper from the Farmhouse Christmas paper pack.
3) Stamping the candy canes with the stamps from the bundle, then punching out.
4) Punching the candy canes out of colored card stock.

All four ideas were easy and I wanted to see how each idea would look. I added a combination of stamping, layering and color to make these designs. I've listed my supplies below and a click on any one of them will take you right to the store where you can make an online purchase. It's easy to order online and you'll get your products shipped right to your door!  I'm happy to answer any questions about these products or my designs.  I love to help people get their craft on!

Don't forget about the Snowflake Showcase suite, featured a few blog posts ago. It is only available in November!  If you love snow, you'll want to get this bundle and play with it!

That's all for today! It's a gorgeous day for crafting and especially rubber stamping!
Blessings,
Sarah
