I recently had a class devoted to masculine cards! These are the ones we seem to struggle with a little to make and are always out of, so I thought it would be a great idea! It was well attended and we had a lot of fun. One set that was perfect for the occasion was the "Truly Tailored" suite in the 2018 Occasions catalog. Here are some more fun ideas from this set!
For this first card, I kept my color scheme bold and simple - Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla! The sentiment is perfect and I easily cut it out with the Stitched Framelit circles. I remembered a retired mustache framelit I still had so of course, I had to add that to the card!
My next idea was to combine the Truly Tailored suite and the Pocket Full of Sunshine set. I made a couple of "glasses" and also used the pocket framelit. Again, the Truly Tailored set had the perfect sentiment to suggest this theme. If you haven't tried the Night of Navy Corduroy ribbon, you really should! It is wonderful and so soft!
I let yet another sentiment from Truly Tailored suggest my last theme - a fox! We have a fox stamp set and fox builder punch so that was fun to play with! I actually used four different punches on this card, showcasing how versatile and functional they are!
Take a look at your collection of products and see what you can combine for a great idea! All of our products coordinate in color but many times, there is cross over in theme as well, you just have to search for it and think about it!
