Geared Up Garage! Vrooooommm.....

Hi Stamper friends!
It's already Wednesday. How did that happen?  We are enjoying an unseasonably mild winter here in Montana so I need to reign in my daydreaming before I start getting visions of camping and four-wheeling in my head, haha!  We have these every once in awhile and we just enjoy the sunshine while we can. There is still more winter on the way, I'm sure.

I want to share with you the bundle that caught my attention FIRST in the new 2019 Occasions catalog. Most of us are always looking for fresh and new ideas for cards or projects for guys. Stampin'Up! really came through this time!  The " All Geared Up" bundle is perfect for the gear head in your life. You can even make something for the non-car tinkerers that will put a smile on their face. I had so much fun with this set recently and can't wait to do more!  Here's what happened in my craft room!

Whoa, there are a lot of awesome dies with this set, cutting all those gears which are each unique.  I used our galvanized silver foil paper to create a pretty realistic look.  The rest of the card features the absolutely stunning Designer Series Paper (amazing color scheme) and the stamps. Aren't those oil smudges great?  I love them!

Another die that comes with this set is a bigger one of connected gears. I thought it would work perfectly for a background layer. I used some black foil paper (in the Clearance Rack) to make it a little shiny.  Have you noticed the ribbon that coordinates with this suite?  I love it!

This card features a better look at the connected gears die, using the galvanized silver foil paper again. It also show's off one of the stamps, the car. I colored this with the Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and cut it out with the framelit included in the bundle. Are you just loving the Designer Series Paper yet?

My last card shows off the "trinkets" coordinating with this suite, the wrench and the key. They are surprisingly thin and light so shouldn't be a problem for mailing.  This car was part of the Designer Series Paper that I fussy cut with scissors.  I borrowed the tire tread stamp from the "One Wild Ride" stamp set and added in some exhaust from the same set.

I think I had a smile on my face while I was making all these cards. I have a brother-in-law with a car dealership and I kept thinking of him and his awesome family whose lives have been heavily involved in cars and gears!  ( http://www.outlawmotors.com/)  I've listed my supplies below so you can see the suite in its entirety. If you need some fresh ideas for "guy" cards, this is the set for you!  Click on any of the products and you'll be taken to the online store for easy shopping.

It's also the best time to get this set because of Sale-A-Bration. For every $50 increment you hit in an order, you get to pick out a freebie from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  Extra fun and extra rewards for shopping during this first quarter of 2019.

I am excited for you to have as much fun as I've had with this wonderful suite.  Hit the road!

Happy Stampin'!
Sarah
